Performance at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York
The Tepeyac Association of New York City celebrated Virgen de Guadalupe's Day, at St. Patrick's Cathedral, on the eve of
December 12th. Lorenzo sang the last songs of the program: "En tu dia", "Virgen Ranchera", "Granada", and "Mexico lindo y
querido", evoking love and fraternal feelings not only among Mexican, but also the rest of people of Latin American origin who
attended the event, reinforcing the traditional bonds that Mexican music has created. Musical accompaniment was by Mariachi
Real de Mexico and Hermanos Villalobos. Sheila Rios, a singer / songwriter, as well as Nelson Hidalgo, participated in the
event.
People from Mexican, Colombian, Guatemalan and Ecuadorian descent attended the event.

Tributo musical a Agustín Lara en Los Ángeles, California
Por segundo año consecutivo, Lorenzo fue invitado a la entrega del Premio Agustín Lara en el Museo de Arte Latinoamericano
(MOLAA) en Long Beach, California, la tarde del domingo 4 de noviembre. Al igual que el año pasado, participó de nuevo la
excelente soprano Maribel Salazar, así como los tenores Juan de Dios y Marco Antonio Labastida.
Lorenzo interpretó en la primera parte "Palabras de mujer" y "Cada noche un amor", acompañado al piano magistralmente por
el maestro Tito Enríquez. En la segunda parte, "Granada" y "Aquél amor", con el fondo musical del mariachi local "Alma de
América".

Ofrenda musical a Pedro Infante y Jorge Negrete, en el Zócalo de la Ciudad de México
Lorenzo Negrete se presentó cantando a dúo con Gabriel Navarro, cantante de ranchero, en un programa musical diseñado
por la Secretaría de Cultura, en el marco de los festejos por el Día de Muertos en el zócalo capitalino. El acompañamiento
musical estuvo a cargo del Mariachi Oro de América. El público no dejó de aplaudir los éxitos de sus dos grandes ídolos.

Temporada musical en "El Candelero" (Ciudad de México), ago-nov.2007
Durante un periodo de aproximadamente 4 meses, Lorenzo se presentó en el afamado Restaurante "El Candelero" de la
avenida Insurgentes. Fue en este glamoroso escenario donde el cantautor cubano Francisco Céspedes inició su carrera en
México, hace una década.

celebrate the "Cinco de Mayo" festival in downtown L.A.
